Prevention

Properly fitted masks can help prevent the spread of the virus from the person wearing the mask to others. Masks alone do not protect against COVID-19, and should be combined with physical distancing and hand hygiene. Follow the advice provided by your local health authority.

Treatments

If you test positive for COVID-19 and are more likely to get very sick, treatments are available that can reduce your chances of hospitalization and death.
Don’t delay: Treatment must be started within days after you first develop symptoms to be effective.
Other medications can help reduce symptoms and help you manage your illness.

Testing and Vaccination

Bilvalent vaccines are here now. They are available at our office; providing Moderna and Pfizer. We will be booking appointments beginning 10/1/2022. These vaccines are for those who have had their primary vaccine series (the first two COVID Moderna or Pfizer vaccines or the single Jansen vaccine. These vaccines now cover the original strain of COVID and the current dominant strain, Omicron BA 4 and BA 5.
